Dear Mr Azam Khan
I hope you are doing well.
You are an elected representative and a senior leader and your words and actions show the collective mind-set of the population. Yes its true India is a country where everyone has the Right to Speech but lately your comments and justification on the Paris Terror Attacks have left everyone, including me in a state of shame and shock. You have disgraced the whole nation in international forum. You might know the reaction of the French Ambassador to India on your statement!
I would like to know one thing from you that did you really meant what you said in your statement or is it a cheap stunt that you resort to, time and again to be in the headlines? Let me remind you of the time when your statement (“Muslims, not Hindus won Kargil for India”), showed your shallow and limited knowledge about the organizational structure of the army and the basic statistics of Kargil war.
Either way, you showed the country and its coming generations, how insensitive a person addicted to the taste of power could become in course of time and how the ethical standards in politics is degrading day by day. I am a common man who sits with other common men and women from all communities, and I say this with responsibility that your name is used time and again in association with insensitiveness in the name of religion and as an example of cheap politics.
In spite being an educated man you lacked the basic analysis of facts, so I felt it my responsibility to inform you with the statistics. Now let me substantiate where you went wrong. The attack that was carried out by ISIS on Paris was an act of terror where innocent civilians were targeted whereas the attacks on ISIS controlled areas of Iraq and Syria is a military operation carried out by the NATO forces and is carried out against one of the most inhumane and brutal outfit. Recently your so called “innocent citizens” filmed a devastating video, in which militants lined up 200 Syrian children before shooting and killing them. The children were made to lie with their faces down and then were open fired with handgunsand rifles.
Though you are matured enough still I feel the need to inform you that the attacks by the Superpowers on ISIS stronghold areas would force them to retreat and not get control of the oil fields of the area which if happens would lead to serious peace threat to the whole world. Let me remind you for your own benefit, God forbids but if this happens then you will also be the one to lose your seat and power. Nevertheless I pray to the Lord for your good health and to give you some sense so that you can decide what is at stake and refrain you from the propaganda that you think would do well to you (or to the country).
