Is protesting a crime wrong?? Are we coward or should we be coward?? Our national heroes have sacrificed their life for this India or what?? Should we ruin their dreams of sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic India??
Everyone wants to live their life happily with their family & friends and we too want this right??
The 20-year-old, Arup Bhandari of Salkia, Howrah (WB), slipped into coma after getting beaten up mercilessly and died later on. Their parents wanted justice and urged to arrest the accused and not let them go away just because of their political involvement.
What was the fault of Arup & his family? It’s just that because he protested the eve teasing harassment of women by some youths. If that was his mistake then please guys wake up we are going into wrong direction. This is not the replica of Great India that our freedom fighter had seen nor a minimal percent return to their sacrifice.
Our teacher used to teach us in our school that “Anyay ka virodh karna chahiye”. And this should not have to become curse for him. But see what happened?
Interestingly speaking, the accused are still free and whether it is due their involvement in some political party or due to other reason it’s completely in vague. But you can guess the reason because those accused somehow belonged to a political party actually.
They are saying that the culprits will all be nabbed. Hopefully it will be done soon. And they should be taught a lesson because if this is not done then other may misutilize their political link or other means to escape. On the other hand, it can also be the case that no one or say very few people will take initiative to protest any crime even if it is committing in front of them. It’s just because of theoretical rights granted to us and our fear to fight against injustice. We are provided with various rights as per our constitution and I agree we are availing most of the rights too. But our urge to the country is that just don’t let it be the case where criminals can move freely just because of some means they have and suppressed will be suppressed more and more.
Arup’s sacrifice should not be like a close case file with dust all over it. Today it’s Arup and his friend Abhijit who is still in hospital but tomorrow it may be your near & dear one. So, there are two options available with us. First one is just sit on chair and watch news one moment & forget about that news the other moment. Why should we bother?? We will only bother when it comes to our near & dear, right? Second one is awake right now from deep sleep and don’t let killing of a person be the normal headline of news and rise up. If we do nothing then our chosen leaders, police personnel, or even anyone else cannot do anything. Actually we have interesting characteristics i.e. we don’t listen sound until it converts into noise. I hope you must have understood what I was trying to say.
So India, Rise for India.
