What Facilities Most Private Colleges Pretend To have V/S What They Actually Have

Hello my dear readers, hope everyone is doing fine. Came to write for you all after a long time. It’s the time of the year when school students after working so hard for the whole of the school life are flying out with colourful results and heading towards to take an admission in the college they wished. Some are not lucky enough to take admission in those top colleges of the country so they turn towards the private colleges to study in a stream of their choice.

In our country the number of colleges is growing at a faster rate which is really appreciable but the number of companies is not growing at that respective rate in order to provide jobs to all the graduates. Private colleges are projecting their beautiful campuses in the advertisement that are attracting the fresher’s to take admission in those colleges. In a hurry bury as they are full of dreams and energy to do their best in their wished streams they go and take admission in those colleges but some get trapped and some who are lucky enough to choose their college correctly have a lovely college life. The private colleges will project a huge campus with so and so facilities that attracts the college fresher’s to go and take admission. As every youth of India have a perception that college life is full of fun but the reality is that some colleges are really so bad that they don’t prefer a student’s need, they just work to flourish their business.

Education in India has just become a platform for some of the higher authorities to do business. But a bitter truth lies behind this scenario. So my dear friends in this article I just want to give a few guide lines before you admit your ward to a college without taking its full information. Placement records, ragging records, infrastructure, facilities, language in which classes are held, professors of the colleges and laboratory facilities, extra curriculum activities, hostel facilities etc should go on a check list if you really want your child to get educated happily and in the correct direction.

A college with good infrastructure will always not promise to provide good laboratory facilities. The titration equipment may be a faulty one or the computers in the computer lab may have a OS of Window 7 with a RAM of only 512 MB, it may show centralised AC classrooms but those AC’s may not work. They may promise to provide books to each and every student individually but times may come when this colleges will not get a proper commission from the publishers then in that semester the students have to give exam without their own books. They will show super hostel infrastructure but sometimes water supply will be off and you may have to attend classes without having a bath.

During your result time, if you have failed in a subject then you have an option to send your paper for rechecking that may cost you 1000 INR whereas for the same paper when you gave exam during the semester, you had to pay only 150 INR. Even if you clear in the respective paper your money is not returned. For the mistake in the correction the student has to pay the debt. By the time you realize so many problems and a wrong decision of choosing the college, it’s too late for you to change it because the college has already kept your original certificates so that the student cannot go and take admission in other colleges and by chance if you write down an application to return back the original certificates, they demand you to pay the whole semester fees.

These are some bitter truths that we all have to accept that lays beneath the story of maximum growing colleges over India. Our technology has grown at a faster rate, so before taking admission in a renowned college go through all the information and try to get in contact with the students of the respective colleges through social media and get a brief ideology about the colleges.

If you want to learn and achieve your goal try to choose your stream and college of your own choice and not by coming under anyone’s pressure. It’s your future, you have to live it so take your decisions by yourself.
