Girls get treated like objects after Marriage. And it’s not only/just the husband who is doing it.

The most important word every individual needs to learn and moreover dare to speak it out… For some it’s very easy, but for few its one of the toughest tasks in the world. Coming to the topic, it basically is with respect to women. This stuff came into my mind after watching the episode of Code Red where a newly married girl was barely noticed by her husband, her husband came drunk every single night and just dosed off. One night she kept waiting for him and finally asked him “Mujhme kami kya hai, ki aap meri taraf dekhte tak nahi?” (What is missing in me as a women that you don’t even look at me…?). He wakes up from his half-drunk mode and asks her “you want me to love you? Ok….” He brings his bottle of whisky and asks her to take a sip….. Scary, right?

I mean which Indian husband would do that? Do men need to be drunk or need their wives to be drunk to express love towards them? Well the story did not end here, the sister-in-law then advised her to do as he says if she wanted to gain love of her husband. And then she began…. Dressed in all sparkling clothes, deep neck blouse showing her cleavage and almost complete bare stomach…setting the ambience of the room like the most famous Chandni bar where most of our Indian frustrated men go to feel relaxed playing songs which properly idolizes women as an item and nothing else.

Oh what a surprise….? He was so freaking happy to see her wife like this…. She followed doing it every day and he would always love her, always came back home early. The only difference was that instead of going to some bar after his work to have some entertainment, he directly came home for the same. And one fine day, she became pregnant… What next…? Do you think he was happy about that? No … Not at all… He was too disappointed, because he would not be able to see her pretty wedded wife in the shimmering dresses, he could not force the bottle of whiskey into her mouth, he could not twist and turn her anyways he wanted. Well that’s a lot big deal for these men. So what… “Let’s get this child aborted so that even my elder brother can have some fun…..” This was the next line he said after knowing about her pregnancy.

Are you serious? Well I was glad enough to see the ending where both the ladies stood for their rights and got the devils arrested.

Talking about day to day life of every wedded lady or the girls who would someday be someone’s wife, you are a Human Being just like those men, you breathe, you eat, you study, and you bring life to world. You have your own status lady, you have your own rights….You are not some home Décor who has to be decorated all the time and kept at home for your man’s entertainment or like some punching bag (which is again a sort of home decor) where your man can simply punch you over and over to take out his frustration.

Learn to say “No” and most importantly learn to take your own stand. There are still families who feed their daughters with this thought “A daughter leaves her house in a palanquin and leaves her husband’s house only on a bier”. Trust me parents and my lovely girls if you do not take your stand to fight for yourself, you will end up with only one thought – suicide and then your so called loving parents who sacrificed everything for your good will have nothing to do but simply sit and cry on the 13th day of your death ceremony saying “I wish I had understood her”. Don’t let this time come. Be strong and take your own step…. “It’s highly recommended for the crime against women free society!”
