So, people can raise anti national voices in the name of freedom of expression. We, the less qualified people have inferred this from the actions of the highly qualified, the so called scholars of the Jawaharlal National University in Delhi. In the name of freedom of expression, we can threaten the country to break it into small pieces. Doesn’t it sound like the hunting ground for the terrorists? The language that these so called peaceful protestors and the frontrunners of freedom of speech were using was in no circumstance a nationalistic one.
The university campus looked nothing less than a placement drive for Hizbul Mujahideen, Jaish-e Mohammad and many other terrorist organizations like them. The terrorists use the same words and the same slogans as those were raised in the university campus.

The University shall endeavour to promote the study of the principles for which Jawaharlal Nehru worked during his life-time, national integration, social justice, secularism, democratic way of life, international understanding and scientific approach to the problems of society.
The above lines are taken from the JNU Act, 1966, as it is. It clearly states that the university shall promote the principles which include National Integration and international understanding. The university was set up to promote national integration then. Today the university in all its capacity has become home to an ideology which finds it cool to criticize India.
Yes, the university was set up to promote the democratic way of life where everybody has a say and his opinion should not be suppressed. We still follow it in India. It has become a trend now a day to criticize the country of being intolerant. They cannot explain that if their voices were being crumpled, how come are they sill speaking freely?
Well if the people should be allowed to speak freely as it is their right then it is beyond question. But the real question arises when this right is misused to propagate hatred against the nation aiming to divide the nation in bits and pieces. No, this can never be a right to challenge the country. There is certain responsibility attached to the rights and powers. Even it is a well known dialogue in the Hollywood that “With great powers come great responsibilities.”
These people misuse their right provided by the Constitution of India to question the very Constitution. “The present Indian Constitution describes Kashmir State (including its Pakistan administered areas) as Indian territory (Article 1 Schedule I).” reports the www.constitutionnet.org. These people raise slogans inside the campus saying “Kashmir maange azaadi. Jo tum na doge azaadi to ladkar lenge azaadi.” If Kashmir is an integral part of India, then from who are they asking independence and if Kashmir is an integral part of India, then is it not sedition to threaten the nation to fight against it?
Some of the other slogans raised were, “Tum kitne Afzal maaroge, har ghar se Afzal niklega.” What exactly do they want to propagate? The whole judiciary along with the President of India had approved Afzal of being guilty of the shootout at the Parliament. These so called scholars, who raised anti-India slogans, are now questioning the Judiciary. They are saying that mere 3-4 judges cannot decide who is a terrorist.
They took permission from the authorities to organize a cultural event and this is what they are organizing. They termed the punishment of Afzal Guru as “JUDICIAL KILLING”. In what capacity are they speaking this filth? If not the judiciary, then who will decide whether a person is guilty or not?
These traitors did not stop even then. They stooped even lower and shouted slogan of “PAKISTAN ZINDABAAD” at the top of their voices. Are they being motivated to do that? If yes, then the moot issue should be to find out who are these faces who want to divide India.
What these students did at the campus invites charges of sedition and immediate arrest of these hooligans should be carried out. These goons called it their freedom of speech when shouting anti-India slogans and when they were confronted by another group of students who condemned their acts, they started assaulting them physically. So, where did the right to freedom of expression and right to freedom of speech go for the other group? Is it that only these traitors have the fundamental rights? Do those who oppose such opportunists have no fundamental rights?
Where in the world is a place where you can call the country’s enemy as martyr when the nation has punished him with adequate punishments? Can a person in the US be allowed to call Osama Bin Laden as a martyr? Can students of the premier institutes of China organize rallies and shout slogans for the independence of Taiwan?
There is a very thin line between freedom of expression and speaking against the nation and national integrity. These scholars have committed the crime of waging an intellectual war against the country and they should be nabbed and put behind the bars immediately.
JNU gets grants from the Government of India. These grants come from the taxpayers’ money. These so called scholars, study here at subsidised rates and this subsidy comes from the very taxpayers’ money whose country these traitors are threatening to break into pieces. These scholars are expected to do something good for the country and serve the society but instead of doing so, they indulge in anti-India activities.
There should be no place for these traitors in these reputable organizations. Their scholarships should be stripped off from them and they should be rusticated from the university for not even entertaining the very principle for which the university was formed. Until and unless these anti-nationals are punished, others with similar mentality would not learn a lesson.
It is for freedom of expression that we stand there with every Indian, but when this is misused by some anti-social opportunists, a charge of sedition is minimum that should be charged on them. We can and should compromise with the different ideologies, but when these ideologies are against the country and the very principles of the country, no one should keep quite. It is our duty to stand against these traitors and make sure our country remains free from them.
