Nitish Meets Lalu Meets Kejriwal Meets Rahul. All For Modi. Principles? Who Cares!

India has seen a lot of ups and downs in the last couple of years. A see-saw of fate and a lot of blabbering during political rallies has been observed. The era of healthy politics has somewhere hidden behind the detoriating atmosphere. Even though the world is looking towards India with renewed hope and is treating as an important member whose say is taken seriously in Global policy formation, the opposition parties and politicians associated with them, have freely criticized the government and its policies without credible reasons.

Today, the political arena has segregated in two factions, Pro-Modi and Anti-Modi. The relevance and importance of the issues find no place in policy formation by the opposition. The opposition has congregated together and it is quite appreciable that congress has been able to hold opposition parties together.

It is rather fascinating that the hatred against one man has reached to such a point that these parties and so called leaders have shunned down their ideologies and have formed a pack to attack him. In the recent swearing in ceremony of the new Bihar Government, all such leaders shook hands and hugged each other after putting aside their previous ideological differences.

Today it remains only two ideologies in the political arena of India. As mentioned above, one is pro-government and the other is anti-government. This type of politics is healthy and perfectly fine and it is this quality that enhances a democracy. But it becomes very lethal for the people and the country once it crosses the limits and becomes anti-national.

The politicians should consider the very fact that they have been chosen by the people to improve and strengthen India and not destroy the peace and harmony of the society and in turn affect the development of the nation.

We are lucky to have a Prime Minister who is honest, hard working, a true nationalist and pro development. He has been given the opportunity to perform and bring the country on the right track. He is working on it and has brought a lot of changes.

The whole perception regarding India has changed. In the world forum, we have moved ahead as a leader instead of being a follower of western decisions. It gives immense pleasure to know that our PM initiated a dialogue in the United Nations regarding the ancient science of Yoga and within a year more than half of the humanity welcomed it warmly.

Similarly, this time our PM initiated a dialogue for the nations to join together and fight against terrorism. A lot of countries have accepted the proposal put forward by France which was initially initiated by India.

India has come out as a leader in a move to protect the mother earth, all because of the efforts of the PM Modi. The world has acknowledged it and is going to meet in France on 30th this month to formulate plans to counter climatic changes.

The PM has changed the whole perception of India from a struggling economy to one of the fastest and most stable economy. India’s GDP is highest in the world. A lot of laws have been made and modified to bring India on right track.

The government till date has not been involved in any corruption and has held bureaucracy largely responsible due to which a sense of accountability has emerged in the system. It has included the people from every stream of the society, including even the poorest of the poor.

It is quite evident from the above examples that the government as of now is on right track and is performing to the best of its capacity. There might be some issues which still need to be addressed but eighteen months is too short a time to judge any government which has been given a time period of five years to perform.

Looking at the mess created in the past sixty years by the previous governments, it would be gross inequality on their part if they are judged this early. Moreover, the government has been performing from the very first day it has come to power.

The opposition parties that do not have a good report card and are somehow not able to fulfill the promises they made in their manifesto, have joined to stall the developmental works of the government. The Congress and other political parties made use of the fact in the last session of the Parliament that NDA does not have a majority in the Rajya Sabha thus stalling the developmental process that was meant for the people and not for those politicians only.

The opposition is creating grave situations in the country to divert the attention of the government so that they can criticize them once those promises are not fulfilled. The left wing and the congress manufactured many incidents to stall the winning spree of NDA under PM in Bihar.

An award returning scam was manufactured by Congress and equally supported by the media who are angry with the government for various reasons. This is quite evident because after the Bihar election results was declared, no awards were returned and suddenly, the whole country which had grown intolerant for the past eighteen months again became a tolerant one.

The dirty tricks department of Congress is trying to manufacture incidents against the government to destabilize it. They are not paying any heed to what ill effects their actions are causing to the society. They have tried to communalize the atmosphere of India by adopting several behind the screen tactics as they did in Dadri and Haryana.

Recently Punjab deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal held a press conference holding Congress responsible for initiating pro-Khalistaan sentiments among Punjabi community keeping in view the state elections in future.

Congress leader and previous Cabinet Minister Manishankar Aiyar went to Pakistan and asked the Pakistanis to remove the PM and bring them back to power. Does the incident not qualify for the sedition and treachery against the country?

Another Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid went to Pakistan and praised General Musharraf and criticized the Modi govt. for not addressing the Pakistan issue. How can a person who has held such high diplomatic position for the country criticize the govt. and its policies on foreign soil?

Whenever a Congress leader is booked for the corrupt activities he did while in government, the party cries foul and plays the victim card and accuses the government of being vindictive.

The opposition parties will continue to do so until and unless we, the people, the most important part of the democracy, stand up for ourselves. We are equally responsible for the proper functioning of the government. We can criticize and stage protest democratically against all the anti national activities.

The opposition parties have full rights to differ and dissent but they should also remember that in the process of hating one person, they do not become anti-nationals. Instead of stalling the whole session of Parliament, they could have played an active part and could have allowed the bills to be passed which were beneficial for the people and the country.

They should remember that the country is watching their actions and it can be dangerous for them in the next elections. There is a thin line between hating a person and becoming anti national. The politicians who hate Modi should keep in mind this thin Lakshman rekha and try not to cross it.

Yes, they are in opposition now, but they were in power too in the past. People will come and go, Political parties will come and go, doesn’t matter, but this country should remain, and our India should remain.
