Today we focus on some of the Chemicals that are released that makes you happy ? Do you know why ? Chemicals released in your body are primarily important for your well being. Dopamine : Increases Happiness ; Endorphins : Reduces Perception Of Pain ; Oxytocin : Increases Love ; Serotonin : Increases Satisfaction &Fulfillment. How can you accelerate their release, into your system to enhance your ‘Super’ being?
(1) Release Dopamine:By Designing An Actionable Routine you Outline your goals regularly (every week, for instance) to create clarity of what you want to achieve. Setting and achieving short-term goals allows your brain to release dopamine, which is the main neurotransmitter/chemical of pleasure. Keep your long-term goals in mind, but don’t neglect the ‘small wins’. Set realistic weekly goals but also remember to tweak them, make them challenging and exciting, to avoid monotony and boredom.
2) Release Endorphins : By Keeping Your Passions Alive, Indulging in your passions or hobbies is the easiest way to induce endorphin release. This is one reason that excursions, outings, going to comedy shows, performing music, indulging in art, drama, and play lead to higher levels of happiness. Keeping your passions alive is required to spice up your daily life.
3)Release Oxytocin : By Indulging In Balanced Social Activities . Oxytocin is the glue that binds together healthy relationships. Proximity to another individual in the form of a hug, cuddling, and spending time with family and friends increases the flow and release of oxytocin. Communication and interaction serves as a de-stressor inducing a happier state of mind.
5) Release Serotonin : By performing random acts of kindness. Giving to others and thanking them is not only nice, it is also significant in effecting your health. Gratitude increases the serotonin levels in your brain, making you feel a higher sense of self worth and inviting a sense of satisfaction and joy.
