In Mumbai, a cracker is quite famous during Diwali called 7 shots, the speciality of it is that it bursts 7 times and each time the sound and light exceeds the previous blast! While all the political leaders have been like fused bombs during the recent electoral outings, Mr. Narendra Modi has been the ‘Seven Shots cracker’ winning in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Lok Sabha Elections, and recently in Haryana & Maharashtra. The fascination for him is to such an extent that if he promotes an Uday Chopra film, it can become the highest grosser of Bollywood.
This article is not late, but Modi should have been given some time to settle into the PMO, the 100 days claim was exaggerative but 6 months is sufficient to settle, thus now is the time to introduce him to his responsibilities. Every person says we vote for Modi, every candidate says we have an additional factor of the Modi wave, but above all, Modi is the crusader of billions of hopes. After an epoch, the prime minister is loved by all and is a leader from the grass root. There is an immense pressure on him, and the pressure is not of work but that of trust. The country has blindly believed in him, the aged individuals had lost faith in politics but the youth stood by him. If he doesn’t delivers then the faith in politicians will be lost for a long span of time.
Though Modi is considered a marketing expert, the youth had too advertised him a lot. It was the youth which believed in him at the beginning, with the hope of getting better educational structure and facilities, better jobs opportunities and a good standard of living. The youth believed that it’s only Modi who can ensure that only talent will help to secure admissions in colleges and jobs in offices, instead of common practise of an approach letter or sources. The hefty donations would no longer exist in the system is what the students expected while voting.
The Middle-Aged Individuals from the age of 40 years to 60 years hoped primarily that the inflation would come down and things would be affordable. They hoped for a safe environment where they do not have to worry about their daughter coming from a lonely street. They crave from the prime minister to make the process to start a business easier and to curb the numerous formalities in government offices and of course the corruption would vanish. They expected from the PM that he would make it possible for them to afford a house and better standard of living.
The females hoped that the PM would provide them a safe environment and better job opportunities. They expect him to change the mentality where the girls are a burden to parents is a common thought. The minority don’t expect him just to wear their cap but they expect him to give them an equal status in the society. They expect him to safeguard the basic fundamentals of our secular nation. They expect a surrounding free from vindictive thoughts and vulnerability.
The nation apart from these, also expects him to bring back the black money and to be punitive to those black money holders. The nation wants better infrastructure and facilities. The nation doesn’t want to be like USA but wants to be better than the USA. The nation wants that every individual should have a fear of law and actually feels that the law is above all. Last and the most important is that Modi has to make people believe that once elected, the minister will work hard for the betterment of society.
