India Of Their Dream
Let’s make India, the India they dreamed of,
Let’s be devoted, to the bloods they laid off,
A country, where constitution is the supreme,
& Its amendment is not just the political stream.
A country, where, on none of its citizen, law is extra favored on,
& To protect citizens’ rights, none of the institution just passes over the baton.
A country, where communal violence is just a myth,
& Harmony & peace for all, is only to live with.
A country, where majority is not destined to endure pain for minority’s gain,
& Minority is not obliged to be subdued, of majority’s negative strain.
Let’s make India, the India they dreamed of,
Let’s be devoted, to the bloods they laid off,
A country, where a mother’s just born child, be alive,
That medical care & provision, people need not arduously strive.
A country, where no parents terminates a child on gender basis,
& A girl’s accomplishment, is the society’s actual anthesis.
A country, where merely two-time meal is not a privilege,
& Nobody is snared in hunger & starvation’s cage.
Where farmers are prompted to produce food, not only for whole nation,
But also for his family, thus their suicide, be only an awry citation.
Let’s make India, the India they dreamed of,
Let’s be devoted to the bloods they laid off,
A country, where ‘Cast your vote’, is invariably dominant over, ‘Vote your Cast’,
& A politician’s campaign before election & the work after, is not a contrast.
A country where citizens bother is not only for their Fundamental Rights,
But Fundamental duties of each, is the one, which guides.
O people, not Lord, but you possess the power to change, till the time you concede,
Because ever introspect; violence, discrimination, poverty, is creation of your deed.
O countrymen, please stop the blame-game & complaining attitude,
Just do the duty being loyal nationalist, as nobody aspires to see India, as solitude.
Let’s make India, the India they dreamed of,
Let’s be devoted to the bloods they laid off,
Ujjawal Kumar
