Dear Mr. Kejriwal, Isn’t This What You Came For?

When Arvind kejriwal burst into the Indian political scene a few years back, the only things he would swear by were – anti-corruption laws, investigations and transparent inquiries.

It was his propaganda, and people liked him for that, at least in the early days.

Now when the tables have turned, and the arrow is pointing towards him, he is just reacting like any other uneducated politician with little intellect would have.

His recent tweets about Narendra Modi on the CBI inquiry are a testimony to that. He first tweeted-

First things first, Central Bureau of Investigation is an independent body which does not come under the jurisdiction of the government, or any political party for that matter.

It conducts its investigation independently without the interference of the central government.

Currently an investigation is going on Rajendra Kumar, secretary to Chief Minister of Delhi, on the grounds of corruption.

The CBI spokesperson released a statement on this incident, saying-

“CBI has registered a case against Rajendra Kumar, secretary to CM, Delhi on the allegation of abusing his official position by favoring a particular firm in the last few years in getting tenders from Delhi government departments,”

Even after all this if Mr. Kejriwal goes on social media to blatantly bash the centre, pin pointing Narendra Modi, for everything going around, then it’s time for him to remove the blindfold.

Everything is not always a conspiracy Mr. Kejriwal. If you have nothing to hide then what is making you so mad about the ongoing investigation or the alleged raid.

Isn’t this what he always wanted – A country where even people at the highest positions come under the same scanner as any normal person would have?

Arvind Kejriwal has always harped about making India corruption free, and I cannot ignore the fact that few of his efforts have been genuine to some extent, but being in a position of power and more importantly, responsibility, he cannot mix two completely different things.

His hatred for Modi cannot become a part of everything with which he is surrounded. We don’t expect a Chief Minister to be this absurdly kiddish. Not only that, even hypocrite to a great extent.

Now it’s his turn to answer and he is pointing fingers, giving out brash statements and questioning the whole process.

Mr. Kejriwal, isn’t this what you came for?
