2019 Election – Option with India/Bharat

thequint2018-0287e937ef-d0fb-4a6c-bbd4-7cb18b41bb30Next-PM1India is the worlds largest democracy and having population of 1.3 Billion and according to UN estimates, our population is expected to overtake China, in 2028 to become the worlds most populous nation. India has more than 50% of its population below the age of 25 and more than 65% below the age of 35. It is expected that, in 2020, the average age of an Indian will be 29 years, compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan. So we are still a young country.

As a rising economic powerhouse and nuclear-armed state, India has emerged as an important regional power. But the problem is also tackling huge, social, economic and environmental problems. In such conditions  what are the  options available with India in area of politics, in its leadership? What is expected from our leadership to tackle the problems of our nation and make itself a sustainable nation.

Indian National Congress was founded in 1885 and since its inception it has given our nation great leaders in pre independent and post independent era. In fact socio-economic growth has been exponential. But what is status of said largest political part of nation. It is almost dying and its basic reason, is its wrong ideology in selection of its LEADERSHIP.

Today its leadership is literally struggling to stand. The people have started learning its social condition and its political needs, which is good. But is it right time to do so? This is not good for the future of Congress but also for the largest democratic nation- India. If this continues then we Indians are going to reject it out as option, in 2019 Election.

Congress is dying and it is time to revamp it . It is only possible with experienced leadership and with the support of youths. The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is a coalition of centre-left political parties in India formed after the 2004 general election. Again the largest member party of the UPA is the Indian National Congress. Does the UPA emerge as a possible option in 2019.

I do not think so. If the Congress in its present state needs to revamp itself and take a new visionary stand. The regional parties in this coalition are also not going to do any magic, as they are not well known in their region too. There will be many regional players such as Nitish Kumar, Lalu prasad, Naveen Patnaik, Mamatha Bannerji,AIADMK, Chandrashekhar Rao, Kejriwal, etc. Each one of them is very popular in their states. They can win election in their states without any alignments. Their role is going to be crucial if any big party like Congress or BJP doesn’t get full majority.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is a centre-right coalition of political parties in India. The National Democratic Alliance was formed in May 1998,  as a coalition to contest the general elections. It was led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, and included several regional parties, including the Samta Party and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), as well as Shiv Sena.

The only member which shared the Hindutva ideology of the BJP. Presently it has about 48 regional parties but only few like Shivsena, JD (U) TDP, Shiromani Akali Dal, are going to play major role. Out of 31 State Legislatives, 19 are ruled by NDA Government, only 5 by UPA. Government and regional parties are ruling in the balance 7 states hence regional parties will play a major role in 2019 Election.

In April 1980, shortly after the elections, the National Executive Council of the Janata Party banned, its members from being dual members of the party and the RSS. In response, the former Jana Sangh members left, to create a new political party, known as the Bharatiya Janata Party. Since its inception BJP grown from 2 seats in Lok Sabha to 284 seats in 2014 Election.

BJP has given a visionary leader Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and marketing gimmick Shri Narendra Bhai Modi. In the  present scenario BJP has an upper hand over all National and Regional parties, by having the most popular leader with them as the  present PM.

We are a nation of 1.3 Billion and the youngest nation in the world is left with only option, of leadership i.e. Shri Narendra Bhai Modi.  If we consider all national and regional parties , it can only be magical,  like what happened in Delhi in 2013 and 2015. It has the possibility of giving us a new option of leadership. End of the day it is Janata Janardhan who will decide the future of India/ Bharat in 2019, where Rural India is again going to play major role especially if Urban area utilizes the day of voting as a family holiday trip or Day of rest.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat.
