Last week, when the Pakistani Taliban attacked an army school in Peshawar, it shocked the entire world. Everyone came forward together to protest against this heinous crime. So, how could the Christians be left behind?
Pakistani Christians rallied in solidarity with posters that showcased expressions of unity. This peace walk indeed showed that Pakistan is talking its step ahead in emerging out as a secular country where all religions can live peacefully under the same roof.
This step is an even greater move by Pakistani Christians considering that last month itself, a mob of 500 people dragged a Christian couple out of their home, assaulted them and threw them into a brick kiln. All this because the woman allegedly threw 500 pages of Quran with the trash. The woman was even pregnant during this incident.
But it seems like the Pakistani Christians have showed a big heart here and have come forward to support the greatest religion of the world i.e. Humanity. Let us all learn a thing or two from these 800 Pakistani Santa Claus who took to the streets to support the grieving families of Peshawar attack.
