What makes every Indian believe that Kiran Bedi is not the person whom we thought she was

Until a few days back, we only had one clown in Indian politics but seeing the way Kiran bedi is behaving these days, I think very soon we will have another one.

Ever since she has shook hands with BJP, it looks like Kiran Bedi is doing every possible thing to ruin her image of a strong, confident, strict and independent woman. In the past month or so, she has made numerous stupid remarks in front of the media and has acted rather dumb in answering the questions fired to her. She doesn’t look like the same person as she was a few years back, the first lady IPS officer and an influential social activist who was not afraid to dictate terms.

All that was past, now Kiran Bedi is all geared up to represent BJP in the Delhi elections on 7th February, and the much hyped battle between Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi is soon going to unfold. Kiran Bedi is boasting with confidence as she has one of the most emphatic leaders of our nation on her side, Narendra Modi. In the quest of taking an upper hand in this battle and having Modi’s support behind her, Mrs. Bedi is going on saying all sorts of notorious things in the media and on social networking websites.

When Arvind Kejriwal told that he was not invited to Republic Day’s parade, the reply to it by Bedi was, “If he (Arvind Kejriwal) is hurt for not being invited, he should join the BJP” – as quoted by a popular TV news channel. Seriously? So what I basically understand from this statement is that you are not supposed to watch the parade if you belong from any other party apart from BJP. This clearly reflects the arrogant and self righteous attitude of Kiran Bedi, and it’s not going to help her cause in any manner.

She followed up that remark by asking Kejriwal to “grow up” and “stop playing sob sob”. But I think the real cry baby these days is Bedi herself.

In an interview for NDTV channel by its very popular reporter Ravish Kumar, Mrs. Bedi tried running away thrice within five minutes when questioned on the incident of towing Indira Gandhi’s car and some of her older tweets. Doesn’t it remind us of another interview from last year? Well, what can I say, it’s just too obvious.

Kiran Bedi gained huge publicity in her early days for towing Indira Gandhi’s car as it was illegally parked. It is now that she has come clean with the incident, admitting that it was sub-inspector Nirmal Singh who actually did this.

If actions of the past can go for a flip then it’s hard to expect the words to hold their gravity. Kiran Bedi has completely turned on her head after shaking hands with Narendra Modi. She tweeted a few months back, “It will be a shame on both main national parties if they unite to keep political funding out of RTI. Neither deserve our vote!” And now it’s okay for Mrs. Bedi if BJP doesn’t decide to disclose its funding sources.

No matter how idiotic Rahul Gandhi sounded, at least was humble. But Kiran Bedi hardly seems to know the meaning of the word humble. She only knows how to lash on to media and act upset on every other question asked. The real face of Kiran Bedi is very annoying and I don’t what Narendra Modi sees in her. Hopefully we won’t have to see her for long.
